Renewing your SOLIDWORKS Document Manager API 2015 FCS and SOLIDWORKS Document Manager API license key is optional. SOLIDWORKS Document Manager API license keys expire on July 1, and October 1, of the year following the year in which the license is purchased. For example, if a license key is purchased in 2015, then the license key will expire on July 1, 2016.

The SOLIDWORKS Document Server is used to create, open, edit, and modify DWF, DGN, and other DWF-based file types. It supports the DWF 2.0 and DWG 3.0 file formats. The SOLIDWORKS Document Server is located in the Start menu (Start > SOLIDWORKS > SOLIDWORKS Document Server).
