I recently had to reinstall my Windows 7 home premium pc... After getting all the stuff downloaded...I tried upgrading my operating system...and it had problems...then I went online and downloaded "day one"... then I got the isos ready...and then I put the cds in and setup went fine.. I tried accessing the BC/RO and it didnt.... then I tried running setup again...it got stuck on the Scanning...then I tried again and it took a few minutes and I sat there wondering what the heck was going on...Did anyone else have this problem?

I have set home premium as the only OS. I would like to create a recovery disk for a key that I recently bought. I need to restore Windows 7 home premium in case I lose the key. I am very new to this. How would I go about doing this? I did not get the disk that came with my computer.

Hi Good Afternoon!, thanx for the reply..actually i have a 16GB external usb hard disk where i transferred my all of my illessions and backups. During the installation i had set my target disk as the external hard disk. After that, when i started installing windows then the installation was stucking at "Scanning and creating partitions". I connected my USB hard disk as data drive for windows. After some time auto repair option was displayed at booting windows which no longer has any option to repair the problem. So, i resized the partition of the external USB hard disk and made room for windows 7 installation. After that i replaced my bootable CD, and continued installation from there and finally, i got windows 7 on my USB hard disk. d2c66b5586
