The xboxs are: Xbox1 (original) - original xbox disc (4.2gb) Xbox2 (original) - original xbox disc (4.2gb) Xbox3 - 1.6 Xbox 360 A (Original) - 1.6 xbox disc with disk 1 and 2 I think - the format is FAT32 on a 160gb drive. Xbox4 - original xbox disc - the format is FAT32 on a 160gb drive. Xbox5 - original xbox disc - the format is FAT32 on a 160gb drive. I bought these drives at a pawnshop. I have done the same to the other 4. Not all of the drives were in the same condition. I have not gotten to them yet to see if there is a difference. I think the Xbox 3 and Xbox 4 are the same, the Xbox 1, 2 and 5 are all original. But i don't know which one of the original or the newer ones are which. I think the original 3 and 4 are newer ones.
I know the eeprom is in the main drive, but i have no idea where it is on the drive. I tried looking on that drive in disk finder. I have no idea how that one gets to the eeprom though. I think the drives have some kind of boot. I think the Xbox 1 is the only one that has a boot. The rest of them are locked. I know i can get the Xbox 1 to boot into my xboxhdm script, but i cannot get any of the others to do the same. They are all locked
I have been trying to find out what the boot is. But nothing. I think the boot is on the 1.6 xbox disc. I don't know if it is the eeprom or not. I don't know. I just know it is in the 1.6 xbox disc.
To see if it's really an issue with the Xbox Slim, try to boot into the game you want to play. Then try to use the eeprom to lock it. If it works, and the game works, then everything is working normally.
I will see if I can find the bitstream for Xbox 1.6 and see if that will make a difference. I have done the same process with all the modchips and they all work, but chimp will not run properly.
As for the Xboxes you will need to change the bios settings to use the flash drive. There are several bios settings you will need to change and I am not sure how to do this. I am also not sure if the bios settings are saved on the flash drive so you will need to change them each time you connect it to the xbox. (If someone can give me a link or some info I can try that)
