I do not recommend piracy of any software. I highly encourage you to purchase the software from the official site of Autodesk. More than 12,000 people are working in the company to create fantastic Autodesk programs/software, so please respect their effort and stop piracy. However, if you are still using any xForce or Activator and facing this error, then these steps guide you to avoid this error. We do not have any suggestions for using pirated programs or software.
If you have recently installed the same Autodesk product or program and, for whatever reason, you have removed it and then reinstall the same version or program, you might face this problem. If you have followed all the steps listed in the 3 parts above and still face the same error, then I would recommend doing a clean uninstallation of the Autodesk program/software that results in the error. Watch and follow the steps in the video below to do clean uninstallation of the product.
If following the steps above do not help you fix the error, please reach out to me on WhatsApp. You can reach out to me with any queries/comments/feedback relating to AutoCAD installation or any other Autodesk products using the comment box below or on my WhatsApp.
Sir i still not able to do that, Despite i disable all the settings (Protections, Securities, Firewalls etc)its showing the same error. I tried it many times. For your information I want to activate autocad 2008 in windows 10Please help me.
Autodesk provides support to users of all of its current versions. If you opt to contact Autodesk for support, the available general support services include product activation, technical support, software updates, and hotfixes.
Three years ago, Autodesk announced its plan to end activation for outdated license versions. The phased approach instituted at that time was intended to provide users with well-defined support expectations. This is the last phase of that plan.
You can continue to use a previously installed and activated version, even if that version has reached end of support. If you have a perpetual license for a version that has reached end of support, you still have rights to use the license for as long as you want. However, if you are using an unsupported previous version, you will not be able to receive a new activation code to reactivate it on any device, for instance in case of a hardware failure. In addition to the potential downtime this might cause, security issues may arise because you will not be receiving software updates or hotfixes.
I have recently installed AutoCAD 2008 on a new Windows 10 computer. Everyday when I open AutoCAD for the first time, I receive the "AutoCAD 2008 Product Registration" message asking me to click on either "Activate the product" or "Run the product". I, of course choose to activate the product using the Serial Key that I have from my purchased AutoCAD software disk aand then insert the activation code of the day. Can anyone help me understand why I have to do this everyday and how do I get my activation to stick? I am now receiving messages that I have used up my allotted number of activations. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Dave
Autodesk is in the process of switching from serial number driven activation to user account (email) driven activation. The problem is that they still have their feet in two places (one in the boat and one on the shore), and they can't quite get either into the boat or out of it. This is causing many longtime AutoCAD users to run into the above problem. Users who are buying their first Autodesk product generally don't have the same problem, but may still run into a variation of it. Furthermore, some bad habits the long time users began years ago are finally coming home to roost.
The activation will most likely fail. You will then be asked to enter a serial number. When you do, you will be told Invalid Serial Number entered. Even though your were given this serial number by Autodesk itself. Yep. This is why we had to create this blog post...
Possible solution #5Clicking yes to continue running script. A blank dialog box might appear within the task bar. Close the dialog box by right clicking on the icon in the task bar and select close. You should receive an activation page that allows you to activate.
We are running 64bit version of win7 enterprise, ms office, autodesk c3d2012. so stormcad should have installed the 64bit version of itself. I have set the support paths in autocad to look at the bentley folders in case there was a support file it is not loading. I have tried to run the stormcad integration tool and that ran successfully but I am still getting the same no license error.
After further investigation this appeared to be the problem was with the software itself. Since the license server was not working properly at the time of the install of StormCAD, the software was activated to use trial mode. Once the license server was up and serving licenses, the software still was getting the error that it could not find a valid license for the AutoCAD integration. The license for the software was still in trial mode even though StormCAD was pulling from the server after the trial expiration. I tried to reactivate the software under the Users profile to see if it would change the license type but even after it completed successfully, it still said Trial. I tried repairing the software to see if that would reset the license type and activated it again with the same result.
I logged on as an administrator to see if that was the reason it would not change from the trial license. Tried the above options to get it to switch with no luck. I finally uninstalled cleanly and reinstalled the software. Ran through the activation and it worked that time so it read as Activated versus Trail. I tried the AutoCAD integration version and that worked with out errors. I logged back on as the User and the license still said trial. I tried to reinstall the program on top of itself with elevated credentials but that did not work either. I then had to make the User a local administrator to uninstall and reinstall the program again. I was then able to activate the software successfully and the AutoCAD integration is working now that the license is Activated. It is now using the network license as designed.
So, most likely when the product was first installed, this default could not set in the license activation wizard (since you pointed out that the license server wasn't working at the time.) So, the program did not know that AutoCAD was part of the license and thus an error was encountered when the StormCAD for AutoCAD shortcut was launched. When the license server then began working, the default still was not set, which is why it still did not work. However, when going through the reinstallation process, the activation wizard usually includes the process of setting the default. So, I'm guessing that the default was set during this process, thus StormCAD for AutoCAD saw that AutoCAD was part of the feature string and began working. Also sometimes in order for a change to be seen by the application, logs need to be sent (using the license management tool). It's possible that the reinstall also forced this to happen and 'refreshed' the status.
Also regarding the admin user versus user account - when you set the default feature string under an admin account, this information is written to a section of the Windows registry that all users have access to (hkey_local_machine). So, when you then log on to an end user account (which may have limited rights), the program will still read the default setting. On the other hand if the default is set by a limited rights user, that will be written to a section of the registry that only they have access to (hkey_current_user). However, I believe that the license activation status may be kept track of on a per-user basis. So, when StormCAD was working correctly under the admin account and then an end user was logged in, it's possible that the default was set correctly but that the logs needed to be sent to 'refresh' things (which may have occured when you ran through the activation wizard again).
On AutoCAD's command line enter the command JTBW_ACTIVATE_APPS to show the license activation dialog box.Take note of the computer number and email it to JTB World.Normally you will receive the Activation Key within 24 hours. When received run JTBW_ACTIVATE_APPS and enter the Activation Key in the box and press OK.
Before we continue, you need to know the exact problem. You can find a detailed error in the installation log. If you are not familiar with the installation log, this documentation shows how to see the log. You can open the log file using Windows Notepad.

Experts generally refer to Autodesk Error 500 as a "runtime error". Programmers like Autodesk Inc. endeavor to produce software that is free from these glitches until it is publicly released. Unfortunately, sometimes errors such as error 500 might get missed during this process.
You might get an error message after software installation that reads "Autodesk Error 500". When the bug shows up, computer users will be able to notify the developer about the presence of error 500 through error reporting. Autodesk Inc. then would need to correct these errors in the master source code and provide a modified version for downloading. Thus, when your PC carries out updates like this, it's typically to correct problems of error 500 and other bugs inside AutoCAD. 2b1af7f3a8
